Scope of Interior Design Services
Y2DC develop interior planning, design imagery, colour schemes, furnishing selections, material and decorative specifications; to review manufacturer’s drawings and samples; review plants and recommend planters; and offer consultation in collaboration with other consultants in order to develop an integrated design. Y2DC will provide interior design services as follows:
Phase I: Planning
– Project-related research
– Programme and schedule confirmation
– Square meter/area budget allocations
– Development of schematic floor plans of all areas stipulated in the Scope of Work, Exhibit “A” will constitute completion of Phase I
Phase II: Concept
– Development of interior design imagery
– Presentation of colours and materials
– FF& E budget review and confirmation
– Coordination of professional renderings (as required by client)
Phase III: Design Development
– Architectural reference/Floor Covering Plans
– Furniture/Electrical Location Plans
– Reflected Ceiling Plans
– Concept book to establish design direction for Plumbing/Hardware/ Sanitary fittings
Phase IV: Interior Design Documents
– Material Reference/Finish Selection
– Furnishing Specifications
– Millwork /Joinery Drawings
– Selected Interior Elevations
– Selected Interior Details
– Miscellaneous Decorative Details
Phase V: Value Engineering
– Assistance in pre-qualification of vendors
– Assistance in evaluation of pricing
– Documentation of Budget required design revisions
Phase VI: Design Implementation
– Review of purchase orders
– Review of shop drawings
– Review of samples and/or prototypes
– Installation review
– Selection of Art & Accessories
